Introductory Centering Prayer Workshop

Are you feeling drawn to silence and solitude, meditation or silent prayer?  If so, this Introductory Centering Prayer Workshop may be for you.  Centering Prayer is a way of preparing for the gift of God’s presence within us.  In silent receptivity, we open our whole being to God, affirming God’s presence and transforming action within.  Centering Prayer is patterned after spiritual prayer practices from ancient times bringing them alive for today.  Interested? Come, hear and experience.

The day will include the following four conferences that are foundational to Centering Prayer Practice:

• Prayer as Relationship
• The Method of Centering Prayer
• Thoughts,Distractions and Use of the Sacred Word
• Deepening our Relationship with God

There will be opportunity for discussion and questions following each conference and two opportunities to experience the prayer.

Workshop Fee:  $50.00 for the workshop.

Follow-up:  In order to strengthen prayer practice and provide deeper understanding, there will be two optional complimentary follow-up sessions which will include centering prayer and selected topics for deeper understanding.  Further details will be provided at the workshop.
